Dear All,

There is a saying that ‘the destiny of India is being shaped in her classrooms’ and in the four walls of the class rooms educational institutes are expected to work together with students and teachers to develop a good human resource for the welfare of mankind. But, in the present scenario India’s destiny is being shaped both in and outside the four walls.

I express my sincere thanks for placing trust and confidence in me to lead this prestigious institution, a task that I accept with deepest humility.

PKR primarily being an Educational Institute, teachers are the torch bearers and it is my endeavour to involve all the worthy teachers in the venture of PKR with a view to enhance the image of PKR and make its presence strongly felt not only within the region but also at the National & International educational arena.

I firmly believe that we need to make honest attempts to reach out to the policy makers, Industrial organizations to give our priceless inputs/services on many important policy issues/training programmes. This can be possible only when each one contributes her might as connoisseurs in the field. Equally important is the initiative to recognize the young women graduates as it is they who are the future leaders of tomorrow. We shall make efforts to seek their greater contribution in the activities of the society.

Like any good educational institute, PKR takes the responsibility by spotlighting on higher education thereby leading to research and fulfilling the academic needs of the women students of this region.

I look forward to your suggestions and guidance for all inputs that lead to the continuing progress of PKR. I wish you all a great success in all the endeavours in the years to come.
